Douglas M. Dumler graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1973 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. While he was at the University, he played football for the Cornhuskers and was elected as co-Captain as a senior. Mr. Dumler played football professionally for three years with the New England Patriots and two years with the Minnesota Vikings. His Viking teammates elected him as player representative to the National Football League Players Association.

During his NFL career, Mr. Dumler attended law school at Suffolk Law School in Boston, Massachusetts and at William Mitchell School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, graduating from Suffolk in 1979. Since that time, Mr. Dumler has been in private practice in Sharon, Massachusetts for ten years and in Fort Collins, Colorado since 1990. He is a member of the Colorado and Larimer County Bar Associations.

Mr. Dumler specializes in the areas of estate planning and probate administration, real estate law, including Section 1031 exchanges, general business and transaction law and workers' compensation for professional athletes. He is a charter member of the panel of Workers' Compensation attorneys established by the National Football League Players Association.
